On 14th May, revellers adjourned in the depths of Club Hell, Singapore’s most notorious nightclub, for the first-ever bacchanal of its kind: the Viu Xperience Party. For those who weren’t able to secure a seat on Charon’s ferry to the underworld, here’s a peek into the debauchery that filled the walls of the club.
To make a good first impression in Hades’ domain, partygoers came to the inaugural Viu Xperience Party dressed to the nines. Select attendees were also specially decked out in Calvin Klein apparel for the event.
Those whose outfits needed an extra zing could also head to the Kosé Beauty Bar for foundation touchups. The makeup artists also painted festival makeup looks onto the faces of the guests who came bare-faced.
Other beauty-adjacent activities to keep the attendees entertained throughout the evening include a Jagua tattoo booth by @henn.drawn and a hair glitter extension counter by @glitaf.
The festivities were hosted by Fiona Loh decked in Calvin Klein, and music for the evening was provided courtesy of DJ HellzBellz and DJ Linc.
It’s not a party if there are no libations, and Jim Beam was on site to ensure that good vibes were flowing all night long. Partygoers were treated to all-they-can-drink Suntory highballs and Roku Gin & Tonics. Strong Zero, Horoyoi, and of course Jim Beam was also offered at the bar for those who wanted to imbibe in other beverages.
To ensure that everyone has a good time without experiencing any downtime the morning after, DrinkAid came to the rescue, handing everyone a pack of their anti-hangover pills at the front door.
Guests who were going dry for the night could instead drown their sorrows in mocktail shots provided by Oatbedient.
Did you really go to a party if you didn’t take a selfie of yourself holding up a drink? In an effort to help revellers take the best drunken pictures possible, Samsung gave a presentation on how users of the latest S23 Ultra smartphone can make the most of the 200-megapixel camera.
For starters, the camera system - comprising of 4 cameras!! - can zoom up to an impressive 100 times and take bright photos even in low light situations like in a club. Makes it super handy for snapping mid-rave selfies in the inferno circus.
For guests who want to get a group shot, the Viu Xperience Party also had an interactive photobooth by Mirror Me Singapore. Once they’re satisfied with their shots, they got to take home printed copies and get a GIF sent to them for instant uploading to Instagram.
As the evening raged on, it was only fitting to award the best-dressed attendee as well as the guest who could chug a highball the fastest.
The most fashionable partygoer went home with one year’s worth of Starhub’s UltraSpeed broadband plan (worth $1,438), letting them surf the web at speeds of up to 10Gbps. The tippler who finished an entire highball in 2 seconds won a 1-night stay at Patina Maldives (worth $2,656) - he was definitely worthy of partying in the underworld.
Throughout the night, there were also plenty of lucky draw prizes that were given away, including Puma vouchers worth $300, a one-night stay at voco Orchard Hotel worth $350, Calvin Klein special edition gifts worth $499, a one-night stay at Patina Maldives worth $2,656, Kenwood appliances worth $299, and many more.
Two lucky winners also walked home with a Samsung Z Flip 4 (worth $1,290) and a Samsung Earbuds 2 Pro (worth $185).
But the grand prize of the night was the Grand Xperience Prize which included most of the above items plus alcohol from Jim Beam, DrinkAid pills, a LUMOS projector, and GHD Mint Styler.
Alas, all revellers also snagged a goodie bag which included treats from Oatbedient, DrinkAid, Kosé samples, Samsung vouchers, and 90 days of Viu Premium.
