Sago House’s Hard Gurls Takeover sees three speciality cocktails inspired by three amazing women in Singapore, Celestine Chan, Nina Kong and Desiree Jane Silva. Come 8 March, all patrons will have the chance to toast and sip these exclusive cocktails featuring flavours such as elderflower, tamarind-infused vermouth and spiced apples. All proceeds will also be donated to Hagar, an organisation that helps women and children who have experienced abuse in Singapore.

Charity Fun Run with Chimis Marina Bay and United Women Singapore

United Women Singapore is a non-profit organisation that advances women’s empowerment and gender equality. To celebrate International Women’s Day, they’ve joined forces with Chimis for a 3.5KM run around our beautiful bay area. The first three to cross the finish line will take home some cool prizes but the best part of this event has to be the fact that 50 per cent of the proceeds will be channelled into the organisations programmes.

Likewise, join AWARE’s Fair For All at their headquarters at Dover Crescent and participate in mini workshops centred around the organisation’s departments. Perhaps, this might even spur you to join as a volunteer to fight for women’s equality as well.
