"It" Girl Status: Bella Hadid's Style, Jennie's Makeup And Smell Like Rihanna

Drop dead gorgeous.
28 October 2022

The “It” girl has been a concept that has stood up against the test of time. Ranging from every fashion cycle's beloved models to the hottest movie stars that grace the silver screen, everyone wants to look and be like her.

This October, Bella Hadid, Black Pink’s Jennie and Rihanna have been the talk of the town for their style, makeup and talent. As such, we have broken down their looks and how we can achieve them for ourselves. Check em’ out below.

This fashion forward maven has been on the rise, as if that was even possible but she continues to do so regardless. Bella walked in almost every major catwalk during the latest fashion month, which was filled with more than one iconic moment.

While the technology for the Coperni spray-on dress is yet to be available to the masses, we can definitely emulate her jetsetter look that generated buzz on TikTok – balletcore.

This trend focuses on ballet flats but that’s way too easy to spearhead a fashion moment. Bella’s grungy ensemble of grey tights, an oversized hoodie, leg warmers and a beanie, directly juxtaposed the demure ballet flat, which gave this trend the spark it needed to catch everyone's attention.

Social media quickly fell in love with Jennie’s look when she made an appearance at Chanel’s SS23 fashion show. The knitted one-shoulder dress with emblematic details and the matching cardigan was great but it was her rosy makeup and pastel nails that took centre stage.

To perfect her makeup look, you will need to apply a lot of blush after foundation and concealer. Blend it out from the middle of the cheekbones towards the lower eye area and towards the ears. Add a little bit to the nose bridge as well for that sun burnt glow.

Complete the look by drawing on your preferred eyeliner shape in black for definition and a peachy lipstick and gloss for that juicy pout.

Rihanna’s Signature Scent

Our badgalriri is finally releasing new music after seven years. While we wait eagerly for the single to drop on 28 October, we can do some serious shopping to hype ourselves up for the upcoming masterpiece.

For years, Rihanna’s scent was a heavenly mystery that even hypnotised celebrities such as Lil Nas X, Cardi B and Jennifer Lawrence. In September 2021, Rihanna launched her signature scent under Fenty Beauty – Fenty Eau de Parfum, which was sold out almost immediately.

It was then restocked in December 2021 but again, it sold out too quickly and fans have been longing for its return. Thankfully, that day has come, the perfume is now a permanent addition to the Fenty Beauty range and fans can purchase their very own bottle for $250 from the website.

Just a few spritz and it’s as if Rihanna is performing her new song in your room.
