Fashion Week saw many designers create a new spin on headgear, from balaclavas, to unstructured hoodies, to these fuzzy snapback-cape combos at Raf Simons. Once again proving that adding a hat or headgear is the easiest way to upgrade a fit.

Hot Pink Monochrome

Pink, pink, pink, and more pink was what we saw at Valentino this season, which was honestly hard to miss. An ode to the freedom and individuality the colour pink represents, the entire runway was decked out in the vibrant shade as models dressed head-to-toe in pink (and black) strutted their stuff— a collection fit for Barbie herself.

Soft & Delicate

Known for their romantic, feminine collections, Cecilie Bahnsen's Fall/Winter 2022 collection featured a dreamscape crafted through soft, gauzy fabrics and elegant yet girlish silhouettes. Whimsical details like floral embroidery and smocking completed the vision; a visual exploration of girlhood.

Expert Tailoring

Crisp tailored pieces were a staple across many runways of Fashion Week, as blazers, coats, and trousers took centre stage during the Fall/Winter season. Annakiki's futuristic collection kicked this up a notch, incorporating starburst-shaped tailored details into their post-human inspired designs.

Art Made Into Fashion

This season, Coperni really said form over function. The brand collaborated with glassware sculptor Heven for their Coming Of Age collection, creating a series of blown glass versions of their iconic Swipe Bag; a collision of art, fashion, and craft.
